Community Groups

Our community groups provide a safe, supportive and nonjudgmental space for individuals to pick up a hot meal or snacks, transportation vouchers, and to share friendship and resources.

Rose Petals is Care2Prevent’s weekly support group for female-identified individuals living with HIV. This group helps women learn how to cope emotionally, understand treatment adherence, and advocate for and educate others. The goal of Rose Petals is to encourage women to build upon the skills they have to live a healthy and fulfilling life.

Rose Petals is currently meeting on Tuesday afternoons at 3pm mostly in-person with some Zoom thrown in. Contact Meera for more information at 872-242-8296 if you’re interested in joining.

Getting to Zero is a new initiative from Care2Prevent that invites all individuals impacted by HIV together for learning and supportive sessions. We invite guest speakers and offer training opportunities for group members, including Mental Health First Aid certification, self-care and substance use sensitization. Groups meet in-person on the first and third Thursday mornings from 10am-12pm. Call or text Meera at 872-242-8296 for more details.

This Campaign has ended. No more pledges can be made.
